Yes, I have libxml2-dev package already installed. The version number
is: 2.6.24.dfsg-1ubuntu1.
Maybe those files are not included in 2.6.24. Try:
find /usr/include -name "xmlmemory.h"
And see what you get.
If all else fails, you may try to install the debian packages instead.
