That's a pitty, indeed. So the last alternative is using the
getQuandl-package which gets data from quandl.
Running the sample script, btw, returns an error of the type:

It looks as if this is it. The syntax of the query has changed; this
wouldn't be bad in itself, except for the fact that in order to download
csv data, the server now requests a cookie, which obviously I wouldn't
know how to generate automatically.
Oh well, it was nice till it lasted.
