hm...on my computer Gretl still crashes, maybe this is a matter of
compiler or libs? I've used gcc-3.4 (with switches suitable for
pentium-m) and libc6-2.3.5 from Debian testing; later I'll try it
on AthlonXP and gcc-4.0.3
No, it shouldn't be anything to do with compilers or libs -- but is
public CVS up to date yet? The fix is in
