Are other people seeing this? The last time I tested on Windows (I
believe, with the snapshot that's currently in place) I saw the "recently
opened files" in place OK.
Now I tried with windows millennium and it works!
But under XP not!
There is obviously something wrong when running under XP.
Note that when you re-install gretl the list of files will probably
disappear, since the Windows registry entries get overwritten.

If recently opened data files are not appearing in the File menu, I
wonder
if this could be a locale/encoding issue.
Probbably something with XP.
