Yes, it will.
My goal is to produce a plot that is ready for online or print
publications. So it would be nice to have both colors and dashed
lines.
To achieve that with current gnuplot you'll have to set dashtype per
line. Personally, I think it's better to use "mono" if you want
something printable on a non-color printer.
