Allin,
There seems to exist a bug in the new release of gretl (1.6.1).
Open any sample file and do a frequency plot changing the number of bins
(one of the new features). Then try to edit the histogram color to
another value within the triangle. Finally, close the histogram and
File>Quit gretl. Say no to choosing the session stuff.
Well, on my WinXP SP2 machine, more often than not, gretl exits to
window but gives me a bomb error dialog (some instruction referenced
...). This happens MOST OF THE TIME; I have not found what causes it.
Incidentally, it would be nice if a user could change BOTH the fill
color and bin border color of a histogram via the GUI. Way things work
now, I cannot draw bins that have white fill and black border (I guess I
can if I use plot commands but going via the GUI would be nice
especially since the fill color command is already there).
