Hi
although there appears to be a Quandt likelihood ratio test for structural
break at an unknown point in the Test options for an estimated linear
model, the uploaded
Stuctbreak module with the Bai Perron test has gone missing. Is there a
reason for this?

Hi,
What do you mean by it "has gone missing"? It's still on the package
server. Use either GUI or the following command to install it locally:

pkg install StrucBreak
include StrucBreak.gfn
help StrucBreak

Model -> Univariate Time Series -> Structural Breaks

Thanks. I have a new laptop and the font in Gretl seems to have shrunk so I
missed seeing it at the bottom of the list of options. Pity there is no
Settings option for Gretl on fonts and font size. Setting off he Windows
font options makes no difference to the Gretl screen appearance.

You're right, it's not hooked up in the model window (under Tests or
anywhere), but appears in a more standalone way in the main gretl window
in the menus under Model / Univariate Time Series. (If the user --you--
has actually allowed this menu addition.) The reason is that it's more
like an estimation by itself, but that's admittedly also a matter of taste.

Thanks. It is under Tools Preferences in my 2024c version. Saved my
eyesight from continuing to cope with the default size 9 font.
