Allin-
I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I am still having errors.
Before I emailed you last time I spent around 7 hours trying to get it to
work and wanted to give it another thorough go.
I haven't, and I apologize.
I get this with: Data>Display Values>All variables
** (gretl_x11:849): WARNING **: Cannot open font file for font Courier New
12
** (gretl_x11:849): WARNING **: Cannot open fallback font, nothing to do
After modifying gretl.sh to "export GDK_USE_XFT=0":
** (gretl_x11:865): WARNING **: Couldn't load font "Monospace 12" falling
back to "Sans 12"
** (gretl_x11:865): WARNING **: Couldn't load font "Sans 12" falling back to
"Sans 12"
** (gretl_x11:865): WARNING **: All font failbacks failed!!!!
**********
xset -q yields the following with regards my font path:
Font Path:
/Applications/Gretl_Folder/fonts,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/,/usr/X11R6/lib
/X11/fonts/Speedo/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/CID/
,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/
Let me know if you would like more information about these paths. (*.dir
dumps or what have you.)
Again I apologize for not being more adept at Unix
programming/configuration.
Give me a box number at Wake Forest and I'll send your wife a boxed copy of
Panther. (Do you mind?)
Cheers!
