HI Allin, There are 1000 rows on the csv file. The program does not allow date not conforming to the calendar? Atlernative ways to retain the existing date without restructuring? Tks

If you can send me a copy of the data I'll take a look, and check whether there seems to be a bug in gretl's handling of dates. In general I think gretl manages dated daily data pretty well. Allin Cottrell
