Sorry again. Of course the very first thing I did, after i encountered this
problem, was to try the "check for updates" option on the Help menu. I got
the message "There are no new files on the server." That's why I resorted
to this list.
I will now manually navigate to your website and search for the update.

The point you mention was fixed last year, in gretl 1.9.13; please
update (the current version is 1.9.14).
