At present the only way to do that via the command line is to change the
ordering of the variables under the "var" command; so to get IRF plots
with different Cholesky orderings you'd have to re-estimate the VAR.

I'm not seeing that here. Could you give an example of a pair of lines
that use backslash for continuation where it's not working?
