I would also love to have a way to group windows as suggested below. I use gretl as the main software tool in a class on empirical finance and I find that the sheer amount of windows is sometimes a hurdle for many students who are typically used to do all their calculations in a spreadsheet. Nevertheless, I think gretl is great to use in a classroom setting!
