I've successfully updated -gretl- to 1.10.1 on my Kubuntu Linux 14.10
machine and run an update on CVS, although I can't see a great deal of
difference between this and 1.9.92.
On clicking 'Check for updates', I'm greeted with this message:
"You are running gretl 1.10.1. This seems to be a pre-release; the latest
version available at
http://ricardo.ecn.wfu.edu/pub/gretl/ is 1.10.0"
Do I take it, therefore, that what I've downloaded is effectively a
beta-version and there will be another update soon?
No, what you have is the latest release. That message was wrong, but
it should be fixed now.
