One other issue: I'm having problems setting up a graphical cvs
client for translation access to cvs. On Windows I used WinCVS
and got it to work relatively quickly. On Ubuntu I have tried so
far Cervisia and gcvs, hitting (different) dead ends with them.
I'm not familiar with these programs (I've only used command-line
cvs on Linux), but I suspect they're just "front-ends" that call
command-line cvs in the background. If that's the case, they
simply add a layer of possible error between you and cvs. On the
other hand, if they actually implement a cvs client themselves,
then I guess they're much less mature than the "cvs" program.
Either way, you lose! Command-line cvs is very easy and simple
once you get the hang of it.
