[Gretl-users] fyi (semi-OT): secure sourceforge login

Hi, maybe this is interesting for other users as well: currently the main login page to sourceforge is not secure (http instead of https). There is already a bug report about this (tracker item 2166495): http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2166495&... Strangely, the SF team think this is of "moderate" importance. Maybe they simply have too much to do right now. A workaround is provided by another user "mkc": "I did discover a workaround: If you type garbage into the initial login box, a secure "try again" page is presented." cheers, sven
