[Gretl-users] Re: Error in accessing DB.NOMICS

Hi Allin and others on the gretl team, I don’t normally use DB.NORMICS, but as I tried to show my students there is this great tool, the following error occurred instead: Error message from dbn_get_json(): Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates *** error in function dbnomics_providers, line 4 > err = dbn_get_json("providers", verbose, &json) When I tried to access the example from the help, such as ECB/IRS/M.IT.L.L40.CI.0000.EUR.N.Z, this error shows up after a few seconds: Error message from dbn_get_json(): Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates *** error in function dbnomics_get_series, line 6 > ret.error = dbn_get_json(parms, verbose, &json) I’m using gretl 2022b-git Build date 2022-05-04, the latest version.
