This could actually be a bug in our package, since the match should be
checked I guess. Will have a look later.
Sorry, that was premature - the command line above is yours I think, not
internally inside the package. So it's not our bug. To stuff a vector
(matrix type) of, say, 5 elements into a gretl series that shows up
directly in the dataset, you have to define a matching active sample of
5 obs. For a forecast chances are that first you have to extend the
dataset range by adding new obs. All that can be done from the menus.
Then try again with the command line above.
