With a small set of few regressions, you're right. But if you run several hundred regressions with several regressors, introducing temporary variables is not very convenient and increases the data set considerably. The names for the expressions could be generated by the machine somehow!? Not found in version 2020d but I I still hope that this feature makes it into the program. Thanks Fred
