Nice idea, but in this context "cvs date" would have to mean (1) the
date on which a "cvs update" was last done in the local source tree,
or possibly (2) the modification date of the most recently modified
file in the local source tree (though that could give a false result
if someone were to edit their copy without committing the change
right away).
I'm afraid it's not a practical possibility for gretl to track
either of these things.
