Dear all,
I am trying to install gretl cvs on the linux distribution "elementary
os" (has an ubuntu-base). Unfortunately, I obtain an error when running
the "make" (not yet "sudo make install") command. I attached a
log-file
which I don't understand.
The full compilation command I used within the "/cvs/gretl" folder is
given by:
./configure --prefix=/opt --enable-openmp --enable-build-doc && make
Does anybody have a clue what's the error here?
This here:
../lib/.libs/libgretl-1.0.so: undefined reference to `get_send_data_list'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
sounds a lot like it's related to the new feature that I requested and
that Allin actually implemented. (see
http://lists.wfu.edu/pipermail/gretl-devel/2014-November/005354.html)
So either you accessed CVS in the middle of Allin's actions and you
would need to update your checkout. Or Allin's changes were not
complete, and you simply would have to wait.
sorry,
sven
