Thanks for testing. I too have a Macbook running macOS 12.4 and I'm
not seeing a problem with the current snapshot. It's possible that
your gretl config file somehow got corrupted. Could you try executing
this command in a Terminal window (to delete the config file, which
should be harmless):
rm -f ~/.gretl2rc
then see if gretl runs OK.
