Thanks a lot . The problem was with cross section data. In order to
covert data of cross section in these dimensions I must use define
new variables. But it is surprising why cross section data have been
left out from this facility

Hi,
if I understand you correctly, in the "Add" menu some entries are greyed
out and not clickable. For everything that involves a time dimension
(lags, differences...) the likely cause is that your dataset is not
declared as time series. Go to the "Data / dataset structure" menu to do
that. What about the "squares" item in the Add menu? If that's not
active, I don't know why.
