Allin just checked it!
It does not work! the exact same file in an other folder with no Greek
characters in the path name works.
Can you remind us of the exact issue, please? Or at least check that
I have it right. As I recall you have a folder with a name
containing specifically Greek characters, and inside that, a file
you're trying to open in gretl, but it won't open.
Just to nail this down as completely as possible: What's the version
of Windows, and what's the language setting on the computer? And
what exactly is the name of the file inside the Greek-named folder?
And finally, what's the exact error message you get? Oh, and in case
it happens to make any difference, how exactly are you trying to
open the file from gretl?
The reason is ask all these questions is that some time ago I mocked
up something resembling your situation on a laptop that runs Windows
10, and after applying some multiligual fixes I got the file to open
OK. So I need to know the exact difference between our cases.
Thanks!
