That's great, thanks for the effort, Artur! But why does a mastodon
account have the word "twitter" in it, I'm slightly confused...

Hi Sven,
I am not 100% sure but "econtwitter.net" should be the server on which the
gretl account was opened. Mastodon is a decentralized social network, so
from what I understand, it runs on different servers unlike classic social
networks like twitter or facebook.
The fact that there is "twitter" in the name should just be a choice of the
administrator.

"#econtwitter" is a well-known hashtag to flag economics-related posts
on, originaly, twitter. Indeed, @econtwitter is just the name of a
server. This server is supposed to be the meeting place for economists
coming from twitter.
Actually, there was a debate whether to replace #econtwitter by
something related to mastodon, but #econmastodon does not sound very
fancy :-D
