Does anyone use, or just know, the Dynare simulation package?
It seems to have two versions -- a Matlab/Octave(?) suite
and native Windows.
Is it comparable to Fair-Park?
How would it complement existing capabilities?

Subject: [Dynare] dynare version 3.046
Version 3.046 of Dynare for Matlab is available for download from
http://www.cepremap.cnrs.fr/dynare
It fixes a series of bugs
* correcting bug in fs2000a example
* correcting several bugs in posterior distribution of various statistics
* correcting inefficiency in simulation of second order approximated models
* correcting the bug with a parameter called 'c' in deterministic models
This version also introduces the possibility of supplying a Matlab function for
computing the steady state of the model instead of relying on Dynare's
nonlinear solver. See the manual under steady, stoch_simul, estimation or
unit_root_vars and the example fs2000a_steadystate.m in examples/fs2000
Best wishes
Michel
