As we are just talking about it: One nice thing about containers is that you don't get all the trouble with installing various gretl version -- especially on Linux. Just build and start your own or somewhere hosted container having some gretl 2020a/b/c/d/e or whatever installed. Also, as Gretl does not have anything comparable to environment for specific projects with its own dependencies as, for instance, Python or Julia, container can be used as such environments: "Simply" build a specific container including all the dependencies needed for your own fully reproducible research project ;-) Artur
