As far as I know, there is no Online gretl. There are some solutions
you
can try, like setting a Linux machine running `broadway`, this allows
GTK applications to be used on a browser
FYI, I have tried Hélio's suggestion on a server -- this is a topic that
already came up six years ago and I finally wanted to see it myself.
It did _not_ work for me on Ubuntu 18.04 which is the latest long-term
support version. That wasn't gretl's fault but a general problem, as
other apps like gedit didn't work properly, either.
However, it did run fine in a browser window when the server was running
the latest Ubuntu 19.10 version. Other Linux distros of course may also
work.
One thing to note is that -I think- the broadway approach is just for a
single user, at least in the standard setup. If you want to run a
service for many people (students?) then something else would have to be
done, like the website that Jan mentioned. (That one seems to be running
gretl 2017d.)
Other option (I don't know if anyone already did) is to have
Jupyter
Notebook, which requires a gretl-kernel (don't know if exists).
That's also an interesting question.
cheers
