In the gretl GUI, you can go to /File/Databases/DB.NOMICS/Browse and then, in
the "DB.NOMICS providers" window, select "JHU" (Johns Hopkins
University) to
get three databases: "Confirmed cases", "deaths" and
"recovered". Each
database contains many per-country and per-region daily series.
