Hello all,
Gretl cannot access folders that are in Greek fonts.
Can this be fixed?

Via the GUI.
Its is a common problem here as being in Greece most of my students have
some Greek characters in the path where they try to access data or Gretl
files. You get this:

Please tell us what the context is. Is this via script, via the GUI file
Open or Save dialogs, or what?

Thanks, Periklis. So -- just to be sure I've got the context
right -- this occurs when using, say, the
/File/Open data/User file
menu item? And if so, how far do you get? Are you able to select
the target file, but then on clicking "OK" or whatever you get that
error message?

Yes, you can select the file and press "open" and then you get that message.
