I think I had the same question a while back and the answer was that the session is
inherently a Gui concept. So if you want to save script results, use store, mwrite(), or
as the recommended way probably bwrite(). (I think the latter even with optional
compression. )

I cannot figure out from the documentation if there is a way to save all
the objects created by a batch job in a session file analogously to what
can be done at the end of GUI sessions. Any hints?
