gretl dmg to test for OS X 10.5

For anyone who has been trying to get current gretl to run on OS X 
10.5 (on intel) but has found it doesn't work:

Sven Schreiber has done a trial build on 10.5; the disk image is 
at:

http://www.wiwi.uni-frankfurt.de/profs/nautz/downloads/software/gretl.dmg

It works for him.  Can anyone confirm/deny that it works on their 
10.5 installation?  

This would be very helpful.
