I can't replicate this on Linux, or on an M1 macbook.
Is this with a tabbed script editor, or in single-script-per-window mode?
I have just put up new snapshots, which might make a difference.
I have just updated the snapshots again, after revising one point in
the GUI code. The previous code doesn't look buggy to me, but it plays
into the specific GTK API that's fingered in Fred's crash reports, so
maybe the change will make a difference.
