Yes, I think that was basically known from a few postings by other
people over the years.
One additional tip: at first it appeared to me that I couldn't
resize
gretl windows in this context, but actually you can. You don't get the
feedback of the mouse pointer changing shape at the edge of a window,
but if you find the right spot you can still pull or push to resize.
I see that, too. Actually when I try to run with a different GTK theme I
cannot resize the window nor move it. Only the default theme seems to
really work. (Apart from the mentioned non-appearing alert window "will
be applied after a gretl restart".)
Sometimes I also see some Gtk-WARNING messages in the terminal, I wonder
whether it's just noise or whether they might point to some things that
could be improved in gretl's source. (I know, this is a very vague
statement.)
