I've now studied the macOS crash report more fully (it's very detailed, in fact
about as useful as possible given that we don't include debugging symbols in our gretl
packages).
On that basis I'm now pretty sure that the issue behind the crash was fixed in an
update on August 22, so the current mac_intel snapshot should be OK. If that turns out to
be wrong, please let me know.
