remote database access

The network has recently been reconfigured at Wake Forest University,
and people may experience difficulty getting to the gretl database
server. Sorry for any inconvenience.
I'm working on this, and the next release of gretl will use a name
rather than a hard-wired IP number for the address of the server.

Are there any OS X users on the list? If so, I'd be grateful if
someone could test the new .dmg for gretl 1.2.7 on Panther. I have
tested it on v10.2.4 only.
