Accumulating series

Dear Gretl Community,
How can I accumulate a series in 12 months inside a script? Now this is what
I'm doing:
series var112m = var1 + var1(-1) + var1(-2) + var1(-3) + var1(-4) + var1(-5)
+ var1(-6) + var1(-7) + var1(-8) + var1(-9) + var1(-10) + var1(-11)
Could you please suggest a more elegant way?

daily data 19th century

I have a monthly Gretl data set from 1838:01 through 2008:12. I also have daily data for some series starting in 1838. I understand it is not possible to expand a monthly dataset into a daily. So I decided to create a daily dataset which I could eventually compact. However, I don't seem to be able to create from scratch a daily dataset starting somewhere in the 19th century. Is there a neat solution to this? Thanks.

Table icon disappearing

dear allin,
I noticed a strange behaviour while using the albanian translation: when
one wants to clear the Model table through the pop-up menu, the Table
icon simply disappears. I checked all the other languages and only found
the same reaction with the czech version. It seems as if the language
interface determines the way gretl works !?!?!?!
