I have tested the new feature in the CVS and in 1.9.3. It is working exactly
as you have suggested.
This is the best maintained software package I have ever seen!

It turns out this was simple to do. It's now in CVS and snapshots
(and will be in gretl 1.9.3, which should appear shortly).
