All gretl versions are multilingual, with the default language
depending on the language setting of your computer.
To change the language from within gretl, go to the Tools menu, item
"Preferences/General" and make a selection under "Language
Preference." You then have to restart gretl for the change to take
effect.
If gretl is showing in German, translate as follows to find the
relevant switch:
Tools -> Werkzeugen
Preferences -> Einstellungen
General -> Haupt
Language Preference -> Sprachpraferenzen
