Dear Sven,
I found a buglet in using dataset:
absent "from pkg"
I'll fix it.
For other questions for the time being
you can use the same file from
datasets to POE-4
The same is true for gqtest

Thanks, it's working nicely.
The next related problem is how to install or activate a function
package from an ad hoc place when the package comes in zipped form. That
is, I expand the zip archive to get a directory with a gfn and a gdt
file. If I tell gretl to look in the newly created directory then it
finds the package alright, but the "open ...gdt --from-pkg=..." option
fails, the gdt datafile next to the gfn file isn't recognized as part of
the package.
If, OTOH, I try to tell gretl to look in the next-level directory
(containing the new directory), then gretl doesn't seem to recognize the
new package at all.
Thanks,
sven
