Yes there is a config.log. About libxslt it says:
configure:19741: $PKG_CONFIG --exists --print-errors "libxslt >= 1.0.15"
Package libxslt was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libxslt.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libxslt' found
I guess I could try to find out how to manipulate the PKG_CONFIG_PATH
variable, but other libraries are obviously found, so somehow this shouldn't
be necessary I guess. Or there's yet another problem.
Do you have a libxslt.pc file at all?
What happens if you try the command
pkg-config --list-all
?
