Unfortunately, there is not much context: I open gretl and go straight
to the MIDAS menu without having opened any dataset before. Also crashes
with todays version. Sorry for not priding more information on this.

Could you give some context, Artur? Like what data file you had open.
I'm not able to provoke a segfault by accessing that menu item. (I tried
in German as well as English.)
