Only the left half of the plot area is filled. Inside the gnuplot code
there's a multiplot 1,2 layout; I guess the special case of just a
single plot is not accurately covered?
No, since it doesn't fall within what's advertised and expected for
the command. But anyway it's now "fixed", in the sense that the plot
in question will be of full width.
