I can't test the git version right, so I have to ask:
AFAIU {c|r}nameget can now retrieve all the names, or alternatively (as
before) take an integer to get a single string. But this does not apply to
the setting versions {c|r}nameset, right? No putting single strings like
cnameset(M, "thiscolname", 2).
I'm not asking/pushing for it, because I don't see a pressing use case, just
asking for the fact.
You're right on the fact. I too did not see a pressing use case for
setting a single row or column name. (Plus the fact that the "set"
functions already require two arguments, the second of which can be
an array of strings or single string, which would somewhat
complicate documentation of the "just set one" case, were we to
enable it.)
