 This was with gretl from two or three days ago CVS on Ubuntu Linux 9.10,
 but I have just removed completely and installed again gretl from
 current CVS and the problem persists (in Spanish and English gretl). So
 I suppose may be a problem with my version of Gnuplot. It is version
 4.2.5-2
Ah, I'll look into that. But if it works for you, I'd recommend
using the gnuplot binary at
http://gretl.sourceforge.net/gnuplot_for_gretl.html
