How is the synchronisation between the xml and html file ensured? Does this
happen automatically? If not, how to initialize the synchronisation process?
The sync of xml -> html is relatively low frequency. It occurs at
release time but otherwise only occasionally. It's done via gtk-doc.
That's unlike the sync from xml to the "online" help files packaged
with gretl, which occurs with every snapshot.
