No idea. Maybe it's easier in the new OSX version? Again, we'll see.
I think it may be easier in new OS X -- but I suspect the degree
of ease depends on whether or not one is building the given
program using Apple's "Xcode" IDE.
I have not even tried to use Xcode to build gretl, since I'm using
various auxiliary libraries installed via Fink (notably GTK), and
I have no idea how to bring those within the ambit of Xcode. Nor
do I have any notion of how to handle (if this is indeed possible)
multiple per-platform versions of such third-party libraries in
the context of an Xcode project.
In short, this is terra incognita to me, but if anyone else is
able to make progress, that's great.
