Hm, or for the release maybe just leave things as they are, and
postponing the final decision?
On reflection, I can see a case for that -- namely, leaving the
recognition of (e.g.) strstr(foo, s) as a boolean value in its
prior, semi-broken and undocumented state so as not to encourage
further use of it, if we're not sure it's really a good idea.
This is fairly arcane, but would anyone else like to contribute an
opinion?
