"Byval" means the particular value of the "factorizing" or
"by"
variable when producing factorized statistics.
Yes, but I couldn't see the
string anywhere while trying to get at it.
Also, "byval" is not an actual English word, is it? Sounds more like a
programming identifier.

The context is a branching under the "/View/Summary statistics" menu
item: "plain" versus "factorized". I think it's OK as is.
Right, I guess maybe I should adjust the German spelling as well.
