That's an Apple-specific thing, not accessible via setlocale. I've put up
a new snapshot that should fix the "Couldn't open pbcopy" problem and
I'm
interested to see if pbcopy will respect the setting of LC_CTYPE. If not
then I suppose we could try messing with CFUserTextEncoding.
