I've tried jumping between a .tex and the corresponding .pdf with
the editor TextMate and the LaTeX bundle. It's possible to jump
back and forth to the appropriate sections.
I've read what seemed relevant in the Skim Wiki/FAQ and I'm afraid I
can't find any mention of named destinations. I think the TeX sync
business is based on line numbers, something much lower-level than
what I'm working with.
As usual with Mac applications (unfortunately) there's not a whisper
about command-line options for the GUI program. There are
AppleScript examples -- and that might be the way to go -- but no
mention of named destinations in that context. Maybe I'll find
something if I open their scripting dictionary on a Mac.
